Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai, the first hotel of Taj Hotels Resorts
and Palaces, was built by the founder of the Tata Group, Mr. Jamsetji Nusserwanji
Tata, in 1903. The hotel boasts a prime location as it overlooks the scenic
Mumbai harbour and the landmark Gateway of India. It offers easy access

city.
The
Taj, a symbol of Indian hospitality, has recently completed its centenary
