This charming heritage hotel, built in 1857, blends a colonial aura with contemporary amenities. The retreat is just 10 minutes from the lush Sims Park and the Golf Course, and 5 minutes from the city centre of Lower Coonoor. It is 40 minutes from Savoy Hotel, Ooty. The retreat is 80 kms from Coimbatore airport and railway station. The drive takes 2 hours.

• The Standard Rooms are tastefully decorated cottage style rooms with ethnic colonial architecture. All rooms are on the ground floor, face the lawn and have private sit outs. Heaters are provided in all the rooms and some of the bedrooms have old world fireplaces. Tea / Coffee making facility is provided. All bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs, health faucets and a handshower. The rooms vary in size and range from 225 sq. ft to 498 sq.ft.
• The Superior Rooms, larger than the standard rooms, are tastefully decorated cottage style rooms with ethnic colonial architecture and have sitting and dressing rooms. All rooms are on the ground floor. Heaters are provided in all the rooms and most of the bedrooms have old world fireplaces. Maximum number of rooms have a lawn in the front. Tea / Coffee making facility is provided. All bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs, health faucets and a handshower. The rooms vary in size and range from 314 sq. ft to 630 sq.ft.
• The Deluxe Rooms, larger than superior rooms, are tastefully decorated cottage style rooms with ethnic colonial architecture. They have very spacious sitting, living and dressing rooms. All rooms are on the ground floor. Heaters are provided in all the rooms and most of the bed rooms have old world fireplaces. All the rooms have a lawn in front. Tea / Coffee making facility is provided. All bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs, health faucets and a handshower. The rooms vary in size and range from 634 sq. ft to 783 sq.ft.
• Of the 4 Suites, 2 suites have 2 bedrooms (one master and one single bed room) and 2 suites have only one bedroom. The suites are tastefully decorated cottage style rooms with ethnic colonial architecture along with a very spacious sitting, living, dressing and bed room. Heaters are provided in all the rooms and most of the bed rooms are equipped with old world fireplaces. Tea / Coffee making facility is provided in all rooms. All bathrooms are very spacious and equipped with bathtubs, health faucets and a handshower. All suites have only one bathroom. The suites vary in size and range from 710 sq. ft to 1018 sq. ft.

• The Dining Hall, a fine dining restaurant with a colonial theme, serves Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines. Live piano music in the evening enhances the dining experience. Timings: 0730 to 1030 hrs; 1230 to 1445 hrs; and 1930 to 2230 hrs.
• Hampton Bar, the colonial style bar, serves a variety of domestic and imported spirits and wines. Timings: 1130 to 1500 hrs & 1830 to 2230 hrs.

Deluxe Rooms 
Include separate sitting and dressing areas as well as all of the above guest amenities. Our conference hall has a capacity of 25 to 150 persons auditorium style or 50 to 200 persons for cocktails/receptions. Lawns are also available for outdoor functions.
