Legends of India Lord Vishnu's Dashavatar Vol 2

Markandey was the most learned and reputed amongst saints. He came to know of his untimely death. So he went to Tapovan forest to worship Lord Vishnu. He followed the path shown by his grandfather Maharishi Bhrigu and repeatedly chanted the above mantra in the praise of Lord Vishnu. By virtue of his continuous and dedicated penance, he got enlightenment and attained salvation. In this part, the same reverent sage markandeyji describes the story of Supreme of Lords - Lord Vishnu and his first five holy incarnations which benefited mankind and will do so in Kaliyuga also.
