Haridra, Nishoth, Hareetaki, Sharkara, Mustaka, Ajwain, Chitrak, Kutki, Vidand, Lauh bhasma, Abhrak bhasma and other ingredients as per Bhaishajya Ratnavali.
Indications for use of Dabur Haridrakhand (Brihat)
Sheeta Pitta, Udard, Kotha, (Urticaria and other allergic skin diseases), Kandu (Skin itching), Pama (Scabies), Vicharchika (Eczema), Jeerna Jwar (Chronic fever), Krimi rog (Intestinal Worms), Pandu rog (Anaemia) and Shoth rog (Oedema).
Dosage of Dabur Haridrakhand (Brihat)
3 g (1/2 tea spoonful) twice a day with luke warm water or as directed by the physician.
Dietary Advise of Dabur Haridrakhand (Brihat)
Old Rice, Bitter gourd (Karela), Sahijan (Drum stick), Muli (Radish), Anar (Pome Granate), Honey and other Bitter Food.
Jaggery, Fish, Non Vegetarian food, Alcohol, Day sleep, Cold water bath, Exercise, exposure to sun, heavy food.
